Thank-you for visiting my blog. I have the unambitious goal of sharing some small thoughts with anyone willing to read and give respectful feedback. I research the role of white women in the settler colonisation of the Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek and the Canadian Prairie Wester as a comparative. Here, you will find some thoughts on my primary sources as I write about them for my PhD dissertation.

I hope you enjoy what I’ve written here, and I am incredibly open to any constructive feedback, but ask that you remain respectful as I evolve my academic writing and ideas. Much of what you will see here is what I would label “classic first draft.”
